Our Founder: Nicola Gautrey

Emeraude Homes was born from Nicola’s own search for a home with character, combining a sense of personality and place but also the quality, performance, and comfort expected from a modern new build. Finding few properties that offered both, she saw an opportunity to create something different: homes that combine contemporary living with the charm and craftsmanship often missing in new builds.

Nicola is a Chartered Civil Engineer with over 15 years’ experience in construction and property development. More recently, she has worked as a project manager and developer’s representative on multi-million-pound schemes, giving her hands-on insight into every stage of creating developments. This experience underpins Emeraude Homes’ focus on quality, technical rigour, and thoughtful delivery.

Today, Emeraude Homes brings this expertise to carefully chosen sites, creating modern, characterful homes we’re proud to put our name to — and that our customers are proud to call home.
